- 5 lbs. apples
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 3/4 oz. box powdered pectin
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Ground Allspice
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. Cloves
Directions

1Peel and slice apples.

2Bring apples to boil in water, reduce heat and cook 25 minutes or until tender.

3Mash.

4Stir in all other ingredients.

5Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Put mixture in jars to 1/4 inch from top and seal jars.

7Leave in boiling bath water for 5 minutes.

8Makes 6 pints.
