- 2 doz. medium-size apples (6 lb.)
- 2 qt. sweet cider
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Quarter and stem apples; cook in cider until tender; put through food mill.

2Cook sauce down until it stands up on a teaspoon.

3Add spices and sugar and cook at least an hour more. Put in jars and process 10 minutes (I use pint jars).

4Also, I do this in the late fall after we have a fire in the wood burner so it can cook down on the wood burner.
