- 2 qt. apple cider
- 4 qt. apples, pared, cored and sliced in thin pieces
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. each: ground allspice and cloves
Directions

1Boil cider until it is reduced to 1 quart.

2Add apples and cook slowly until mixture starts to thicken.

3Stir frequently. Add sugar, syrup and spices.

4Cook until mixture, when cooled on a dish, is of good consistency to spread.
