Ingredients

  • 8 c. cooked mashed apples
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar

Directions

    Peel, core and slice apples.

    Add enough water to cook soft. blend in blender until smooth.

    Add all ingredients and cook at least 2 hours on slow burner.

    Stir frequently to prevent burning. Pour into sterilized jars to within half inch of top.

    Put on caps and screw band tight.

    Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
