  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 c. sliced apples
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Do not use electric mixer! Stir with a spoon.

    Mix sugar, eggs, apples and oil and set aside.
  3. 3
    Mix other ingredients, flour, vanilla and baking soda; add to sugar mixture and add pecans last. Pour into tube pan.

    Bake one hour in 325° oven.
