  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. nuts

    Mix sugar with apples.

    Let stand until sugar dissolves.

    Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together.

    Stir into apple mixture.

    Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

    While cake bakes, make sauce.

    Pour over cake as soon as cake comes from oven.
