  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 apples, peeled and cut up
  • 1/3 c. sugar with 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix together first 6 ingredients.

    Pour half into a greased pan (tube pan or 13 x 9-inch pan).

    Put apples on top of mixture in pan.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle half of the sugar and cinnamon mixture over apples. Pour over remaining cake mixture.

    Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over top.
  6. 6
    Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours in tube pan or 45 minutes in 13 x 9-inch pan.
