- 1 lb. carrots, sliced
- 4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. butter, sliced thinly and divided
- 3/4 c. orange juice
Directions

1Combine carrots with water in a saucepan.

2Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.

3Drain and set aside.

4Combine sugar and flour.

5Set aside.

6Layer half the carrots and half the apples in lightly greased shallow baking dish.

7Sprinkle with half the flour mixture and dot with half the butter.

8Repeat procedure.

9Drizzle with orange juice.

10Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

11Toss before serving.
