  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 apples, cut in 1/2-inch chunks
  • 1 cube butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

    Sift dry ingredients and put in large mixing bowl.

    Add apples and nuts.

    Mix butter, eggs and vanilla.

    Combine with other ingredients until well blended and flour is moistened.

    Spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes.
