  • 3 c. prepared apples
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pie shell, thawed
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Combine apples, sugar, flour and 2 tablespoons water; bring to a boil.

    Place boiling mixture in the bottom of an 8-inch baking dish.

    Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Cover with thawed pie shell and bake at 425° for about 1/2 hour or until crust is golden brown.
