- 6 large apples (about 2 1/2 pounds), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) melted butter
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2Combine the apples, water, and lemon juice in an 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
