- 5 apples
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
Directions

1Slice peeled apples into

2a 1-quart buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with spices and lemon juice.

3Work together sugar, flour and butter until crumbly.

4Spread over the apples.

5Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes in a moderate oven (375°), or until apples are tender.

6If mixture becomes dry while cooking, add a small amount of water.

7Serve cold with whipped cream or hot with plain cream.
