  • 5 large apples
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine

Directions

    Slice peeled apples in 10-inch pie dish and sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice and water.

    Mix together sugar, flour and margarine until crumbly.

    Pat lightly over apples and bake uncovered at 350° about 1 hour or until fruit is tender and top is lightly browned.
