  • 6 c. pared, sliced apples
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, mixed with 1 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1/4 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1/3 c. soft butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Place apples in 8 x 8-inch or 10 x 6-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and water.

    Mix sugar, flour, oats, butter and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.
