  • 4 c. peeled apple slices
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour

    Butter casserole.

    Add apples and pour water and cinnamon, mixed, over.

    Work sugar, flour and butter until crumbly; spread over apples.

    Bake, uncovered, at 400° until browned and bubbly. Serve warm.
