- 6 medium apples (Jonathans or Granny Smith)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- cinnamon (sprinkle)
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Peel the apples and slice into buttered 9 x 9-inch casserole or baking dish.

2Sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon to suit your taste.

3Combine butter, flour and brown sugar (crumbly, do not overwork).

4Spread on top of apples.

5Bake in moderate oven (375°) about 30 minutes or until apples are soft and crumbs are nice and brown.

6Serve with cream, if desired.
