- 6 c. apples (2 lb.), pared and sliced
- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. butter
- nutmeg
- cinnamon
Directions

1Peel and slice apples.

2Place in the bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish sprayed with Pam.

3Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

4Break egg into flour mixture; mix with fork until crumbly.

5Sprinkle mixture over apples.

6Melt 1/3 cup butter; cool to warm.

7Drizzle over apples and topping.

8Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

9Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
