  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup rolled oats (not instant)
  • 23 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 12 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 14 teaspoon table salt
  • 14 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 23 cup melted butter

    Preheat oven to 375F.

    Peel, core and slice the apples, and arrange in a baking dish.

    Sprinkle with lemon juice.

    In a mixing bowl, combine oats, sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and allspice.

    Pour in melted butter and stir until it forms small pebbly clumps, about the size of a pea.
