- 5 each large apples peeled, cored & sliced
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 each eggs
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Directions

1Heat oven to 350.

2Spray a 8x8 baking dish with pan coating.

3Arrange apples in 2 layers sprinkling with cinnamon.

4.i also added a little nutmeg and ground cloves.

5.. use 1/2 the brown sugar each layer.

6Dot the top with 1/2 the margarine.

7Add the dry ingredients together and combine well.

8Add the remaining margarine and mix with your hand until incorporated then mix in the egg until crumbly.

9Pour the topping mixture over apples.

10Bake about 40 minutes.

11I turned off the oven and left it in for 12 more minutes just keep an eye on it.
