  • 8 large tart apples, peeled and sliced
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Fill baking dish with apples.

    Mix water and lemon juice. Pour over apples.

    Combine flour, butter, cinnamon and sugar. Stir mixture until crumbles.

    Spread over apples.

    Bake in 350° oven for about 2 hours or until it begins to bubble and brown. Serve with whipped cream.
