  • 4 c. peeled thin sliced apples
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 1/4 c. flour

Directions

    Mix together sliced apples and sugar.

    Set aside 20 minutes or in refrigerator overnight.

    Add oil, vanilla, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, egg, nuts and flour.

    Pour into floured pan; bake at 350° for 60 minutes.
