  • 1 c. Crisco oil or 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 c. diced raw apples
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Mix together Crisco oil or oleo and sugar.

    Cream thoroughly. Add eggs.
  3. 3
    Beat well and add flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, ground cloves and nutmeg.

    Fold into the batter apples, raisins and nuts.

    Spoon into tube pan or make hole in square pan at 325°.
