  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. black walnuts
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. chopped apples

    Combine eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla.

    Beat well.

    Sift flour with salt and soda.

    Add to creamed mixture.

    Add walnuts and apples; mix well.

    Bake 1 hour at 350° in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Test to see if done by pressing finger on top of cake and if it springs back, it is done.
