- 4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 Tbsp. shortening (cold)
- 7 to 8 apples, cut in small pieces
- 2 c. water
- 8 tsp. baking powder
- milk
- cinnamon
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients.

2Cut in shortening.

3Add milk until wet. Put on floured board and knead lightly.

4Divide into three pieces. Roll each piece (not too thin).

5Spread apples on dough and sprinkle with cinnamon.

6Roll up and pinch ends. Cut in 2-inch pieces.

7Place in pan. Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
