  • 4 c. raw apples
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 box white cake mix (any brand)
  • 1 c. oleo
  • cinnamon to taste

Directions

    Place 3 or 4 cups raw apple slices in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Pour 1/2 cup of water over apples.

    Sprinkle sugar over apples.

    Cover with cake mix.

    Melt oleo and pour over cake mix.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Frozen or canned apples may be used.
