- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- apples
- favorite pie crust
Directions

1Boil the sugar, water, butter and cinnamon for 3 minutes.

2Set aside.

3Roll favorite pie crust into squares. Core but do not peel the apples.

4Slice and place in center of crust.

5Pour liquid over dumplings. Seal crust and twist.

6Dot with butter.

7Bake at 425° for 45 minutes. Baste every 10 minutes.
