- 6 medium apples, peeled and cored
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 lb. margarine
Directions

1Place the apples on squares of pastry rolled to about 6-inches.

2Mix the water, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and margarine. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.

3Pour over dumplins in pan and bake in oven at 375° until apples are done and dumplins are nicely brown. Dip sauce over them while baking.
