Apple Dumplins

  • 6 medium apples, peeled and cored
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 lb. margarine

Directions

    Place the apples on squares of pastry rolled to about 6-inches.

    Mix the water, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and margarine. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.

    Pour over dumplins in pan and bake in oven at 375° until apples are done and dumplins are nicely brown. Dip sauce over them while baking.
