- 5 apples
- 2 c. water
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1 c. cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Slice the lemon and place in a pan with the water and 1 1/2 cup sugar.

2Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes.

3Peel, core and slice the apples; add to the syrup and cook for 10 minutes.

4Drain and discard the syrup and lemons. Puree the apples in a blender and refrigerate until well chilled. Beat the cream until thick; add 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla and blend with the apple puree.

5Pour into individual bowls and chill before serving.
