  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 baked pastry shell (9 inch), cooled
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup red cinnamon candies
  • 4 cups sliced peeled apples King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.87 thru 02/09
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch

    Mix cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar, milk and vanilla until well blended.

    Spread onto bottom of crust.

    Heat water, 1/2 cup sugar and candy on low heat; stir until candy is melted.

    Add apples; continue cooking 8 to 10 minutes or until apples are tender.

    Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.

    Mix reserved 1/2 cup liquid, juice and cornstarch in saucepan.

    Stirring constantly, bring to boil on medium heat.

    Boil 1 minute.

    Arrange apples over cream cheese mixture; cover with glaze.
