  • 3/4 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 large red cooking apples, peeled and diced (1 3/4 lb.)
  • 3/4 c. California walnuts, chopped
