  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. Mazola oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. chopped Winesap apples
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Sift the first 5 ingredients together well until well mixed. Stir the oil, eggs and vanilla until mixed, then pour into dry ingredients; mix well. Add the apples and pecans and mix.

    Pour into oblong pan, approximately 9 x 16-inches, greased and floured, and bake 45 to 55 minutes in a 350° oven.
