  • 1 1/2 c. sliced apples (or peaches or dewberries)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 8 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 deep pie crust

Directions

    Into unbaked pie crust, pour in apples.

    Mix sugar and flour. Add milk and eggs; mix.

    Pour filling over apples.

    Mix softened butter, flour and sugar.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle over top of pie.

    Bake in a slow 300° oven for 1 hour or until crust is brown and filling is firm.

    For apples or peaches you may wish to add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to the filling.
