Apple Pie Baked Doughnuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cups Applesauce
  • 1/2 cups Milk
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
  • 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar (garnish)

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease your doughnut pan so it's ready to go.

    Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Stir in you wet ingredients (applesauce, milk, eggs, vanilla, oil) until it's all incorporated and well-blended. Put your batter in a Ziploc bag and pipe the batter into the doughnut pan until each hole is about 3/4 of the way full.

    Bake for about 10-12 minutes. Let the cool slightly before you take them out of their pans and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
