Apple Pie (Loaf Bread Topping)

  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 6 slices white loaf bread
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. flour

Directions

    Place apples in baking dish. Trim bread. Cut in strips and place on top of apples. Mix margarine, flour, sugar and beaten eggs.

    Dribble over bread and let set for 15 minutes. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
