  • 12 fat-free apple fruit newtons, chopped
  • 8 slices raisin bread
  • 1 1/2 c. skim milk
  • 1 c. egg substitute
  • 2 Tbsp. polyunsaturated margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions

    In greased 2-quart casserole, combine cookies and bread cubes. Combine milk, egg substitute, margarine, vanilla and nutmeg.

    Pour over cookie mixture.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover, bake 20 to 30 minutes more until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
