- 200 g plain flour
- 2 medium eggs
- 125 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 5 None apples
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1 sprig mint, for garnish
Directions

1In a bowl, whisk the flour, eggs, milk and a pinch of salt together to form a thick batter. Let rest for 10 minutes. Mix 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon together on a plate and set aside.

2Sprinkle the apple rings with the remaining sugar. Heat the butter in a pan, dip each apple ring into the batter then fry for about 3 mins on each side. Remove from the pan and dip in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Serve warm, garnished with mint.
