Ingredients

  • 2 boxes lemon jello
  • 16 large marshmallows, cut up
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 large apples, diced, unpeeled
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. pecan pieces
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 container Cool Whip

Directions

    Melt jello in hot water.

    Add marshmallows.

    Add cold water and let partially set.

    Fold in pineapple and nuts.

    Chill until firm.

    Beat together 3/4 cup sugar, 2 eggs and juice of 1 lemon. Cook to full boil, stirring continuously.

    Watch closely.

    Let cool and add 3/4 container Cool Whip.

    Spread on cooled jello and slice.

    Great for Thanksgiving with turkey.
