Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin (dry)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. diced apples (unpeeled)
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. whipped topping

Directions

    In saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar; bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes; add gelatin and stir until dissolved.

    Add cream cheese.

    Stir; cool.

    Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping.

    Pour into 9-inch pan.

    Chill until firm (2 hours or so).
