  • 1 sheet puffed pastry
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • 5 yellow apples sliced
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 170 Celsius.

    Place the sugar in a saucepan and heat until caramelized. Pour into pie pan. Place the apple slices on top of the caramel sauce. Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Cover with the puffed pastry.

    Bake for 25 minutes. Turn out onto a platter and serve with vanilla ice cream.
