- 1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. oil
- 3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Spread pie filling in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking soda and salt. Sprinkle mixture over pie filling.

4In a bowl, combine eggs, vanilla, oil and nuts; mix well.

5Pour over ingredients in pan; stir only until blended.

6Smooth batter evenly in pan.

7Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until cake springs back from light touch.

8Cool on rack for about 20 minutes.

9Prick warm cake with fork.
