- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Peel and quarter the apples.

2Heat the apples and water to boiling, then reduce heat.

3Simmer, uncovered, until apples are tender (5 to 10 minutes).

4Stir in the other ingredients.

5Make sure the apples are broken or mashed into smaller pieces.

6Heat to boiling.

7Boil and stir one minute.
