  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. walnuts
  • 1 can applesauce
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. apple pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg

    Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.

    Add all ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

    Add egg and vanilla.

    Pour in greased square cake pan.

    Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.

    Serve topped with applesauce.
