  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 1 c. nuts (walnuts)
  • 1 c. raisins

    Mix applesauce and soda in bowl; set aside.

    Mix all other ingredients, then add applesauce mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour in a 10-inch tube pan.
