  • 1/2 c. butter or oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. hot applesauce (unsweetened)
  • 2 tsp. soda, dissolved in a little water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. raisins, floured
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped and floured

Directions

    Cream the sugar, butter and eggs.

    Heat applesauce.
  3. 3
    Flour raisins and nuts in some of the flour before adding to cake.

    Bake in a 350° oven.
  5. 5
    This makes 2 large layers or 1 large Bundt cake.
