  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. applesauce
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 c. pecans

    Combine sugar, margarine and eggs.

    Mix until blended.

    Add soda to applesauce.

    Blend all dry ingredients.

    Add to sugar mixture.

    Then add your applesauce.

    Fold in raisins and nuts. Pour into tube pan (well greased and floured).

    Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
