- 1/2 c. grated apples
- 2 envelopes plain gelatin
- 3/4 c. grated apples
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Combine 1 envelope of gelatin with 1/2 cup apples.

2Let stand 10 minutes.

3Combine lemon juice, 3/4 cup apples, sugar and gelatin.

4Add to first mixture.

5Bring to a boil.

6Boil 15 minutes.

7Stir constantly.

8Remove from heat.

9Cool and add vanilla and nuts.

10Pour into an oiled 8-inch pan.

11Let stand 24 hours in fridge.

12Cut into small pieces.

13Roll in powdered sugar and cornstarch mixture.

14Let dry, uncovered, until outside has dried.
