- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (12 oz.) jar apricot preserves
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add egg and mix well.

2Combine flour and baking powder.

3Add to butter mixture.

4Add coconut, nuts and vanilla.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Press 2/3 of dough into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

7Spread with preserves.

8Crumble remaining dough over preserves.

9Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
