- 1/4 lb. margarine or butter
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. dried apricots
- 3/4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Cut up apricots.

2Put in water to cover, boil and simmer 15 minutes until soft (may need extra water).

3Mash with fork.

4Add lemon juice, cornstarch and sugar.

5Mix well; bring to boil for 1 minute.

6Stir constantly; cool about 15 minutes.

7Pour and spread over crust.

8Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

9Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

10Cool.
