- 1 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- apricot preserves
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Combine margarine, sugar and cream cheese; mix well until well blended.

2Blend in eggs, juice and lemon peel.

3Add flour and baking powder and mix well.

4Chill for several hours.

5Shape dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Flatten slightly and indent centers.

7Fill with preserves.

8Bake at 350°

9for 15 minutes.

10Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
