- 1/2 salt
- 1 c. butter/margarine, softened
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. apricot preserves
- 1 tsp. lemon peel
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Combine flour, salt, butter, lemon peel and cream cheese to make dough.

2Roll dough on floured board.

3Cut into squares.

4Fill center with preserves.

5Fold ends over, brush with beaten egg white and put nuts on top.

6Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
